Iran’s ‘For the Clean Up’ to vie at Kingston filmfest

Iranian ‘For the Clean Up’ is to vie at the Kingston Int'l filmfest in the UK.

Iranian ‘For the Clean Up’ has been slated to take part in the Kingston International Film Festival (KIFF) in the UK.

Directed by Mohammad Moravvej, the film will be competing at the short film section of the festival.

It follows a fallen-from-grace old man trying to change things for the good.

The KIFF, aiming to support independent cinema, is dedicated to giving chances to both established and emerging independent filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their work to the industry.

This year’s edition of the event, also set to screen Iran’s ‘Pass’ by Elika Abdollahi, ‘Duchenne Boys’ by Sohrab Kavir, and ‘Naji’ by Hossein Torkjoush, will be held on June 24-26.

In addition to the film screenings, the festival will host an extensive program of workshops, Q&A sessions and special events that will allow aspiring, interested and passionate talent to learn more about the industry and develop new skills.
